MY JOURNEY
Hi, I’m Rezina, the creator behind the brand POTTERYKAARI. I’m a potter, entrepreneur, traditional acupuncture healer, artist, cook and proud mama bear.To be honest, I never saw myself as a potter growing up.

But the moment I laid eyes on a beautiful handmade ceramic piece, something inside me shifted. There's something so magical about creating something with your own two hands, and I found that magic through pottery. It’s truly something-something. My core collection is a range of homeware for everyday use, including mugs, bowls, and plates. Each piece reflects my mood and my design thought process. I'm inspired by patterns in the nature and you'll see these elements reflected in my handmade products. For me, each piece of pottery is a work of art, and I take pride in the time taken to slowly carve and create each one.
Sure, they may not be “perfect” like mass-produced ceramics, but that’s what makes them unique and special.Growing up, I didn’t have many chances to explore my creative side. But when I married my filmmaker husband, who has a background in fine arts, my love for art was reignited. I tried my hand at different forms of art, like watercolor painting, knife painting, mandala art, pen illustration, punch needling, and sketching. But nothing quite stuck like pottery did. It started as a hobby, but before I knew it, I was hooked. Now, I’m living the dream, creating beautiful, functional pieces that people can use and enjoy. It’s a far cry from my days as a software engineer, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I hope my pottery brings you joy and functional flair to your daily routine. Plus, let’s be real – sipping your morning coffee out of one of my mugs just makes it taste better & if you’re not a coffee person then they will add a lot to your personali-TEA. [forgive me for this :P]
So, if you’re in the look out for some one-of-a-kind ceramics, check out my website and give me a shout. I’d love to chat and share my creations with you! Remember if I can do it. You can too. I would be happy to share my learning through my workshops as well. HAPPY POTTERING.. See you soon.
